State Representative Rick Beck visited Shirley School District today. He visited Coach Mannon's 7th & 8th grade classes and Mrs. Wiggins's class. He shared what his job is as a representative and rode along on Mr. Mannon's bus this morning. We enjoyed his visit!


We want to give a big shout-out to our school counselor, Ms. Jacque Wilson. She is in her first year at Shirley and has worked to build strong relationships with our students and staff. We appreciate all that you do for our district!


REMINDER!! There will be no transportation provided after the ACES program this Tuesday (2/4) and Thursday (2/6). Students may be picked up at the cafeteria at 5:30 pm.


Congratulations to SHS FBLA students Jasmine Gann (9th grade) and James Fultz (8th grade) for placing in District FBLA competitions. Jasmine placed 6th in high school Cybersecurity, while James placed 3rd in middle school FBLA Concepts. Both students move on to compete in the state FBLA competitions.

We are so blessed with students who are willing to step up and help out when needed! A special thank you to Dakota and Quincy for helping with Elementary lunch today!



Administration just completed their second monitoring of the current weather conditions and roads around the district. The district will continue with their normal day and dismissal times. All after school activities will continue at their scheduled times.
