On Wednesday, October 23, 19 vendors representing both 2 and 4 year universities, as well as Career Technical schools, visited with the students at Shirley High School. For the Seniors, it was an opportunity to potentially decide where they wanted to attend after graduation. For the underclassmen, it was an opportunity to gather information on the importance of attending a college or trade school after graduation, as well as what they needed to do now to put themselves on the path to meet their goals. Thank you to Ms. Tonya Clark for organizing such a wonderful event. In the Spring, Shirley High School will be hosting a Career Fair, made up of local businesses who potentially are looking to hire students post graduation.
